Last Month in the Library : In February we read books about the Lunar New Year and traditions. We had some fun table centers including panda habitat, Year of the Horse pages, building polar habitats with LEGO, learning tablets, and minecraft style winter themed blocks! We also had several guest readers for our Read Across Sheldon day! Thanks to everyone that came to read.
Panda Express donated all the fun activity booklets your child brought home and I hope you got to use your coupons for free kids meals
A Look Ahead: Next month in the library we will be reading books about spring and learning about the next season and how things change and grow. We will also read about St. Patrick’s Day and related traditions and celebrations.We are looking forward to Spring Break as well!
Cravens Academy Library
I am so excited to be returning as the librarian/media specialist for Cravens Academy this year. This will be my 12th year in the library. It is my 26th year in Sheldon ISD and my 23rd year at Cravens Academy. I look forward to seeing your child in the library and instilling a love of reading into each and every one of our students. During library class we will have Storytime for both Pre-K and Kindergarten, with a new and exciting story along with fun and engaging activities. Be sure to ask your child what they did in library each week.
