Please send your child with a change of clothes. Occasionally, they may have a restroom accident, spill something on their clothes, or get their clothes dirty while at recess. They should have a change of clothes at all times.
Children with a temperature of 100 degrees or more and/or chills/body aches will be sent home. They must be fever-free for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medicine (i.e., Tylenol, Motrin, ibuprofen), before returning to school.
Children who have more than one episode of vomiting/diarrhea will be sent home. They may return once 24 hours have passed since the last episode.
If a child has been treated by a physician, they may not return before the date that the physician releases them.
If a child is found to have lice, he/she will be sent home. Treatment will need to be completed and the child must report directly to the nurse upon returning to school, so that the nurse may assure that the child is lice-free.
