Congratulations to Sheldon ISD Superintendent Dr. King Davis for being featured as an Inspiring Leader in this month's Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) "INSIGHT" professional publication that is distributed to school administrators throughout the state!

Sheldon ISD board members were recognized at last night's school board meeting by ESC-4 Service Center for not only being selected as the ESC-4 Regional School Board of the Year...but also for being named one of only five State Texas Association of School Administrators Honor Boards.

We are busy preparing for our students to return to Face to Face (OnSite) learning  on October 5, 2020.  We are putting processes and procedures in place to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for our students and staff.  We can not wait to see our students back on campus.


Please make sure that you declare your learning platform (OnSite or OnDemand) for your child for the remaining of the first 9 weeks by Sept.18, 2020. Call our office for assistance.  Our hardworking office crew is ready to assist you.

Summer school programs have already taken advantage of the Sheldon On Demand virtual learning environment. Our cameras traveled to a preK bilingual classroom for a glimpse into what the fall semester will look like.

The book fair will be at Cravens ECA the week of October 21-25th. Students can shop any day during the school hours. We will also have a family shopping event during our Family Literacy Night on October 24th from 6:00-7:30. Make plans to attend this fun family event and purchase new books at our book fair! Proceeds from the fair help earn money for our school! Thank you for your support and we hope to see you at the fair!
