Sheldon ISD to remain closed through the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year (June 3)

Dear Sheldon ISD community,

Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order earlier today that will keep all public, private and higher educational institutions closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. He also mentioned that Texas Commissioner of Education Mike Morath would be providing additional information in the near future.

Sheldon ISD will continue its remote learning program through the remainder of the regular school year calendar through June 3, and it will also maintain its curbside meal distributions.

Kindergarten Graduation Parade

It's a kindergarten graduation parade to celebrate our Cubs moving on to First Grade!!! Parents, make plans to drive through our end of year celebration on Tuesday, June 2nd from 4:15-6:15 on the car rider side of the building. All the kindergarten teachers will be lined up along the drive to celebrate your success. Feel free to decorate your cars and enhance the festivities. Pick Up Days June 1st and 2nd

Parents can come drive through the school parking lot to pick up students belongings and end of year goodies June 1st from 7:30 - 2:30 or June 2nd 11:30 - 6:30. Open the page for more information.

Sheldon ISD sets June 1-2 as designated pick up / drop off days

Sheldon ISD has scheduled June 1-2 as designated days for students to pick up personal belongings and/or drop off school-issued supplies – such as textbooks, library books, technology devices, etc.

Here are the scheduled times for the designated pick-up days: June 1 will be 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and June 2 will be 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Please click on the headline for more information.)

Community-Wide Food Drive set for Saturday (April 25) at new Sheldon ISD Panther Stadium

The Houston Food Bank, in conjunction with “A Collaboration of Community Hands,” will be hosting a community-wide Food Drive at the new Sheldon ISD Panther Stadium on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or whenever the food runs out).

Please make plans to come as early as possible, as there are only 80 pallets of food available for distribution.

We hope to see you at Panther Stadium this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
