Technology Volunteers Needed

Are you looking for a way to use your computer science background to give back to your community? The Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS Program (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) supports computer science (CS) education by recruiting and training technology professionals to volunteer in high school classrooms. These volunteers are paired with CS teachers to help high schools in the Houston metro area and nationwide build and grow rigorous, sustainable CS programs.

Royalwood Elementary without power

6:56 am.- Attention, Royalwood Elementary parents.
The district has just learned that Royalwood Elementary is without power, and it is estimated not to be turned back on until at least noon.
Please keep your Royalwood Elementary students home today.
If your child is a bus rider - the bus will pick them up and transport them to the campus.
Again, we are sorry for the late notice but just were made aware of this outage. Thank you.

Funding for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Harris County Project Recovery is offering funding for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.  The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Since this is a new program, it doesn’t matter if you were turned away by FEMA, or whether you had insurance or not. They will be in the Sheldon area every Tuesday and Thursday in May from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The address for their office is 12402 Greensbrook Forest Dr. or you may call 832-927-4961.

All Wild About Reading Logs are Due by May 3rd

All Wild About Reading logs must be turned in by May 3, 2019 to be counted towards earning a medal for graduation. There cannot be any exceptions because we need time to order the medals to have them arrive in time for the graduation ceremonies. Make sure you have turned in your reading logs by Friday, May 3rd.
